BUTLR PLUS (“BUTLR+”, “we”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through the butlrplus.com website, why, and how to exercise your rights, in accordance with Quebec’s Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector and Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act.

What the site collects

• No account, no cookies, no audience measurement or advertising tools: the site stores nothing on your device and uses no trackers. Its fonts, photos and films are hosted with it.
• The contact form prepares your message in your browser. Nothing is sent to us until you send it: it then opens in your email app and reaches us as an ordinary email, with the information you chose to enter (profile, name, email, residence, message).
• As with any website, our host records technical connection data (IP address, browser type, pages requested, date and time) to keep the site running and secure.

Why we use it

We use this information to answer your requests and assist you, whether you are a resident, a property manager, a developer or a partner, and to keep the site running and secure. We do not sell or rent your information and do not use it for advertising.

Consent

By writing to us, you consent to our using your information to answer you. You may withdraw this consent at any time by writing to us.

Sharing with third parties

Your information is shared only with the people who need it to handle your request and with our technical providers (website hosting, email), who are required to protect it. These providers may store data outside Quebec; we then make sure it receives adequate protection. We may also disclose it when required by law.

Retention

We keep your messages for as long as needed to answer your request and follow up on our relationship, then destroy them securely, unless the law requires us to keep them longer.

Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information against loss, unauthorized access and disclosure, including an encrypted connection to the site and limited access. No transmission over the Internet is entirely secure, however. In the event of a confidentiality incident presenting a risk of serious injury, we will notify the people concerned and the Commission d’accès à l’information.

Your rights

You may ask to access your personal information, to have it corrected or deleted, to withdraw your consent, or to receive your information in a structured, commonly used technological format. Write to us at contact@butlrplus.com; we will answer within 30 days.

If you are not satisfied with our answer, you may contact the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec (cai.gouv.qc.ca).
